Alfred Meakin - Chelsea - TL - Butter Pat

Description
A Meakin Chelsea shaped butter pat is hard to distinguish from a pat in the Simple Pear shape as both have slightly scalloped edges.  The easiest way to distinguish them is the mark.  Simple Pear will have an LTD after the potter's name.  This pat is 3-1/16 inches in diameter. Also note that Meakin's Chelsea butter pat does not have the distinctive crimping lines that a Johnson Bros butter pat does in the same body style.
