Corn's Square Ridged can be distinguished by its odd shape and scalloped rim. The somewhat facetious nickname "Square Pear" is based on the very wide lower section of the body. The body flares from a relatively narrow collar to a low waist with a narrow band of ribbing below. The bud-less gold or copper lustre motif is reminiscent of Davenport's Tea Leaf. Shaving mugs follow conventional lines but have a band of ribbing near the base. The gold lustre cloverleaf is an unusual adaptation on an ironstone body style.

Daisy 'n' Chain is a slighly bulbous square style featuring rosettes at the handle corners and in the arch finial. The chain decorations are found at the handle terminals and under the finial arch.

Wilkinson's round body style is embellished with stylized hawthorn leaves at the handle and finial terminals. Because of the three-toed lustre treatment on the leaves, some collectors nicknamed this style "Claw."

This late square style has intricate basketweaving embossed in the lower third of holloware bodies. Basketweave has become one of the most collectible of the late Shaw products.

One of the most popular and available bulbous body styles, it is said to have been potted to commemorate the laying of the Trans-Atlantic cable.

Golden Scroll is a basic square shape with rounded ends. It features embossed scrolling at the lower corners. In some pieces, this scrolling is emphasized with gold lustre outlines.

Embossed bands on holloware pieces resemble blanket hemstitching or piecrust rims, features sure to have appealed to the Victorian housewife.
