Description

Another of the bulbous shapes of the 1870s, the Boote's used a circular arch as a finial and capped the C-shaped handle of the pitchers with a very distinctive oval shape.  A crescent-shaped bone dish which displays the Waterloo Pottery mark and England and T & R Boote may indicate that it was manufactured between 1891 and 1906, the date the Waterloo pottery closed.

Registered November 26, 1870.
